Unusually for a road car and akin to the 641, it was directly mounted to the rear of the tub and served as a fully stressed component of the chassis, with the rear suspension linkage attached directly to the six-speed manual gearbox. This innovation not only reduced weight by eliminating the need for a rear subframe but also significantly enhanced torsional rigidity by integrating the engine and monocoque into a unified structure. Additionally, this design allowed F50 occupants to experience the powertrain’s sensations in a way a non-stressed setup could never match, whether the removable roof was in place or not.If the intense driving experience and the accompanying V-12 symphony weren’t enough to persuade potential buyers of the F50’s prowess, the raw performance numbers certainly were: 525 brake horsepower at 8,500 rpm, a top speed of 202 mph, and a Fiorano lap time nearly three seconds quicker than its iconic predecessor, the F40.
The last fully analog, manual gearbox flagship Ferrari Supercar. Only 349 units of the Ferrari F50 were produced, making it the rarest of Ferrari’s anniversary models. This specific car, part of the few 1997 production units, was first delivered to its initial owner through the official dealer. It retains its original and striking Rosso Corsa exterior, paired with a Nero leather and Alcantara interior, featuring seat centers trimmed in “rosso.”
Alongside its Classiche Red Book, it comes with a removable hard top and flight case, a leather wallet containing the owner’s manuals and service book and a complete original tool kit.
